Group visits can be scheduled between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Wednesdays
through Fridays. Tuesdays and Saturday programs may be reserved by
special arrangement.
Depending on the number in your group, we may schedule one or more additional groups in the same time period, though we make every effort to schedule groups of similar age range.
Once a field trip has been scheduled, you will receive a confirmation letter. Please review your letter and alert us to any discrepancies.
We require one adult for every four children under age 6 and one adult for every six children age 6 and over. Up to 6 adult chaperones are admitted free.
Additional chaperones may accompany your group but they will be charged at the group visit rate.
Teachers and chaperones are required to wear identification badges while in the museum.
We encourage educators and group leaders to visit our museum prior to your field trip in order to review the exhibits, facilities and program so you have the opportunity to prepare your curriculum.
Imagine Nation is 100% ADA compliant and special-needs friendly. An elevator is available to gain access to all floors.
Imagine Nation has plenty of free parking available. Our parking lot is accessible from Upson Street (which parallels Pleasant Street). Nearby additional parking can be reserved for larger groups. Please inquire.
Buses are to drop off along the sidewalk at the museum's main entrance
(at the corner of Pleasant Street and Church Street). Buses are required to park directly across the street in the lot located behind the Bristol Baptist Church.
Children should wear comfortable clothing during their visit. Please have children wear socks or tights for use in our indoor playscape.
A deposit of $50 must be made prior to your visit in order to confirm your reservation. Please refer to your confirmation sheet.
Final payment is expected at the time of your visit. A check payable to "Imagine Nation Children's Museum" is preferred. The exact amount will be figured based on the number of students and chaperones attending at that time.
Non-weather related cancellations must be made no later than 1 week prior to the scheduled start time of your visit. For cancellations made within 48 hours of your visit, your deposit may be forfeited.
For weather-related cancellations, we will reschedule your visit at the nearest mutually available date.
We invite groups to visit our gift shop, where a variety of fun and educational toys and games can be found.
Our museum features an original 1940's soda fountain which serves ice cream cones, sundaes and other treats. Please notify us to review pricing and selections if you would like to offer your group this option either at lunch or as an end-of-program treat.
Indoor eating facilities are available. Please discuss this option prior to your arrival so that we may reserve this area and make appropriate preparations.
Imagine Nation is conveniently located in downtown Bristol with close proximity to Routes 6, 72, 69, 229 and I-84.
