On Friday, December 5, from 5:00-8:00pm embark on a magical holiday journey as Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol, is transformed into Dr. Seuss’ Whoville! A joyful holiday celebration complete with Whoville hair styling, crafts, music and sing-alongs.  Meet the Grinch and his Whoville friends. Jodie Fitz ~ Author & Creator of the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club will be here serving up her YUMMY Grinch-ified Fake Shake! Mail a letter in our Whoville Post Office!


Who-pudding, pizza & snacks are available for an additional cost in our old fashioned soda fountain. Reduced admission price of $6.00 per person sponsored by the Thomaston Savings Bank.  INMELC members and children under I year FREE. ACM and Library passes are not accepted for this event.

Let your children experience first-hand our "Parade in Reverse." articipants walk the parade route past the entertainers who line the route. The parade steps off the Federal Hill Green at 1:00 p.m. Snow date is Sunday, Dec. 14th.

Join us for Jazz music performed by the New England Middle School Jazz Band. See, hear and learn about the unique look and sounds of each instrument.
A festive seasonal craft will be featured in the Art Studio!

Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am

On Sunday from 10-11am the Imagine Nation Museum is open only to children with special needs and their families.

In addition to our multisensory interactive exhibits, which invite children to touch, discover and create, the museum is modified into a sensory friendly environment with lowered lighting and sound.

At 11am the museum opens to the general public.

Reduced admission is $3.50 per person.

Time: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Express yourself through the art of making designer note cards. Stamp, embellish and trim a set of cards for all occasions. A free program for girls ages 8-13 along with a mother or a female mentor or friend. Sponsored by the Women & Girls’ Fund at the Main Street Community Foundation.

Dinner is included courtesy of the Keystone Auxiliary.

**Registration required by 12/16.

Programs are held from 6-7:30pm at Imagine Nation Museum in our Soda Fountain. We begin with dinner followed by the program at 6:20pm.

Mission: Encouraging young women to strengthen positive relationships with their mentor, mother or special friend while gaining valuable life skills to empower them and enhance their abilities to succeed in the future.

The museum will be closing at 3:00pm on Wednesday Dec 24th for the holiday! We will open up again on Saturday December 27th at 9:30am!

Thu, December 25

Time: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

the museum will be CLOSED on Thursday/Friday December 25th and 26th for the holiday break! We will be open again on the morning of Saturday December 27th at 9:30am!

Wed, December 31

Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Ring in the New Year celebrating cultures and traditions from around the globe! Join us on Wednesday, December 31st from 10am until 1pm as we create confetti, masks, and noisemakers! Help create a colorful flower float!  Await a visit from Father Time and dance with DJ Bob, then March in our very own New Year’s parade at 11:30am! Following the parade, we will gather in Times Square and count down for the ball drop at 12:00 noon! Admission is $7/person. Imagine Nation Museum members and children under one FREE.  Library Passes and ACM memberships are NOT accepted for this event. The Museum will close at 2pm.
