Time: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

*GIRLS* this program is for girls ages 8-13 and their mentors, mothers, or a special friend!

- Have an herb garden at your fingertips. Learn how to plant a container garden to grow indoors by the window and will also explain to the girls about savory plants and how to use them to make meals tasty.

- A light dinner will be served

- Registration is required by calling the Imagine Nation Museum at (860) 314-1400

- While this is a free program, registration is required

- Program held from 6-7:30pm at Imagine Nation Museum in our Soda Fountain. We begin with light dinner followed by the program at 6:20pm.

Mission: Encouraging young women to strengthen positive relationships with their mentor, mother or special friend while gaining valuable life skills to empower them and enhance their abilities to succeed in the future.

2014 Concept: Traditions, Trades & Talents
Passing it on...time to learn & play together, one generation to the next. Funding provided by a grant from the Women and Girls Fund at the Main Street Community Foundation. Dinner provided by the Keystone Auxiliary.

Earth has a mission for you: turn dirt into nutritious, rich soil!

Let's honor Earth Day (4/22) and take an up-close look at worms in action, and touch them too!

Winners of the original work submitted by children grades K-6 are invited to read their work at our Poetry SLAM on Wednesday, April 23rd at 4:30pm, call 860-314-1400 for details. Enter by Friday, April 11!

the Imagine Nation Museum will be CLOSED for the United Way of West Central Connecticut Day of Caring on Friday, May 16th.  Community volunteers will be helping to refresh and spruce up the museum!

Save the date for The Imagine Nation Museum’s 10th Anniversary Celebration and signature fundraiser to support education, community programs and exhibitions.  Celebrating A Decade of Imagine Nation features three floors of fabulous food, cocktails, a live and silent auction, entertainment, and more.
