We will be open, up, and running on all cylinders for you to come with your family to enjoy celebrations of Veteran's Day!

Explore everything our museum has to offer for a full day of family friendly fun!

Sat, November 15

Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Join us as on Saturday November 15th from 11-2pm as we celebrate with a variety of furry, feathered, and scaly creatures & learn about their habitats.  Live animal demonstrations will be presented by local organizations throughout the museum.  Pet a pony, rabbit, tortoise and snake.  See chickens, degus, turkeys and more!  Play animal games and make fun animal crafts.  Pizza and snacks will be available for purchase at an additional cost in our Old Fashioned Soda Fountain.   Admission of $6.00 per person, museum members and children under one year of age are free. ACM and Library passes are not valid for this Festival.

*GIRLS* this is a free program for girls ages 8-13 and their mentors, mothers, or a special friend!

Nothing says tradition like a family recipe. Passed on within the family its preparation and enjoyment brings forth memories of family gatherings. Tonight we’ll make pasta noodles from scratch, just like Great Grandma used to make.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY: 11/18.

Programs are held from 6-7:30pm at Imagine Nation Museum in our Soda Fountain. We begin with dinner followed by the program at 6:20pm.

Mission: Encouraging young women to strengthen positive relationships with their mentor, mother or special friend while gaining valuable life skills to empower them and enhance their abilities to succeed in the future.

Time: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

In collaboration with the United Way of West Central CT and community families, we promote the spirit of volunteerism. Create napkin rings complete with a festive napkin for individuals at neighborhood shelters, nursing homes and Bristol Hospital. Participating families enjoy free admission!

Tue, November 25

Time: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

*Open at 9:30am for open exploration and time to add your thoughts to our Thankful Tree!

*Thanksgiving Luncheon at 11:00am
- INMELC will provide the main course for this special shared meal
- Members are encouraged to bring a dish to share. 

*Registration required by Friday 11/21.

Family Festival - THE GRINCH    5 - 8 PM

Embark on a magical holiday journey as the  Imagine Nation Museum, located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol, is transformed into Dr Seuss’ Whoville!  A wacky and wonderful festival complete with crafts, sing-alongs and special visitors including the Grinch, his dog Max, Cindy-Lou Who and the Mayor of Whoville!  Pizza, soda and ice cream will be available for purchase at our old-fashioned soda fountain.  Also available:

“Who-pudding”.   Festival Hours: 5 - 8 PM, admission price of $6.00 per person.  Please note:  Children under one are free. This event does not grant half price admission to ACM members or library pass holders.
