Volunteers:
We need volunteers of all ages to make our museum successful. It is a great way to give of yourself, meet new people, and help to grow the minds of our children.

Adults:

We’d love to have your help! So many choices to match your interests and all of them help our children. Choose from:
    • assist with explaining exhibits
    • help operate our museum store
    • assist with field trips
    • assist with activities and programs (you might help a tiny tot learn to cut, for instance)
    • run an activity that matches a particular talent you want to share
    • read during story time
    • marketing our museum

Teens:
Teens gain great experience working in an interesting and educational environment! Plus, our museum is a great place to earn community service hours or confirmation credits!
    • assist with programs
    • help supervise by leading children when they want to run all over the place!
    • help set up activities with materials for the class
    • give museum tours
    • teach a class with a particular skill and talent you may have

College Students:
The Imagine Nation will offer internships to interested college students. Great hands-on experience for those interested in careers in museums, child care or education.
    • plan curriculum for a particular exhibit.
    • assist children with projects for school
    • develop fun, small exhibits which will change frequently
    • teach classes
    • be an enthusiastic guide for exhibits/challenge children to venture further in their learning.
    • assist with school field trips.

Boy/Girl Scouts:

Earn badges, and have lots of fun!
    • assist children with hands on activities at special events and festivals
    • help set up and clean up for all special festivals, and events
    • teach a class with a particular skill or talent they may have
    • giving tours
    • sitting with a child just to read to them or ask them how their day was
    • running a particular activity
